This class will combine time management techniques with study skills to help a student learn strategies for college success. It will also include a review of vocabulary and explain who to go to for help with different issues.

Resume Writing and Internet Job Searches
Get tips on writing a job-winning resume and learn techniques for successful job searching on the Internet. First timers and experienced writers will benefit from this workshop. It is amazing what a few tweaks can do to take your resume from “ho-hum” to “Wow, I got the job!”
Career Planning
Take assessments that help individuals evaluate what is important in their future work. During the class, discussion will focus on how the information relates to career choices. Labor statistics and alternatives to traditional college will also be discussed.
College Success Advising
Save your money and prepare before enrolling in college! We offer free Accuplacer testing to see if you are ready for college level classes. We also offer remedial classes if you aren’t quite ready, and tutoring for students who are already enrolled in college. In addition, we provide a variety of topics to send you off prepared to succeed! Explore them all or pick a few!
